Rita Dominic stars in this Thriller as a woman who kills to get whatever she wants which in this case, is her friend's husband. Lola (Somkele Idahlama) welcomes her friend Nikki (Rita Dominic) into her matrimonial home after she has issues In the UK. She goes on a trip just a few days after Nikki moves into her house, leaving Nikki with her husband, two kids and a maid. Nikki takes over the house immediately, serving Lola's husband, Bill Pounded yam on the first night. She tells Bill that he was meant to end up with her, not Lola. They start a sexual relationship and the maid, Mary finds out and threatens to tell her boss, Lola. Before she makes the call, Nikki stabs her multiple times and drags her body to the garden. Lola comes back from her trip worried and thinking her maid ran away. Bill keeps sleeping with Nikki but he still claimed to love his wife, Lola. While taking a swim, Nikki tells Lola that she's meant to be married to Bill and pushes her into the pool. She smashes Lola's head numerous times until she passes out. She slips into a coma at the hospital after the surgery, giving Nikki more time to spend with Bill. Lola's friend Peggy starts having suspicions and she confronts Nikki. Nikki ends up stabbing her and taking her body to the garden. Bill tells her to leave the house and even offers to pay but she declines the offer. The gate man unfortunately comes across the bodies in the garden and Nikki takes him out too.

She goes to the hospital to kill Lola but a nurse walks in and interrupts her. Lola finally wakes up from her coma when Bill visits her at the hospital. He goes back to the house and tells Nikki to leave but she refuses. She ends up shooting his leg and tying him to a chair. Nikki calls Bill's friend to go check on him at the house and he goes there with a police man. They try to reason with Nikki but she shoots the Police man and Bill's friend flees from the house. Bill keeps begging Nikki to let him go but his plea falls on deaf ears. Nikki comes with Police Officers to rescue her husband but they can't go into the house because Nikki locked the door. Lola somehow finds her way into the house and she begs Nikki to let her husband go but she refuses. Lola is able to untie her husband, get the gun from Nikki and shoot her. They walk out of the house and the police officers help them to the car.
From the trailer, I already predicted how this movie would go and that was exactly how it went. I've seen too many movies with this type of story line and they didn't even think to change a few things or keep the viewers on their toes. The acting wasn't 100% for me, they felt too stiff and looked like they were holding back. One of the scenes that made me laugh a bit was the hospital scene. Lola is in a coma but her eyebrows are on fleek and her face has enough foundation and bronzer. Come on Nollywood, you guys can do better. That mistake was way too easy to point out. The police officers came in with Lola but couldn't go through whatever door she used to go into the house to stop Nikki?
Lola is able to fight Nikki after coming out of a coma? This is very questionable. Isn't she supposed to be weak and tired after coming out of a coma? I still don't understand. This movie had so many flaws and the fact that it was way too long made it worse. What do we need to see for 1hr 50 minutes? Everything could have been done in 1hr 30 minutes. The words "Fuck" & "Bitch" were used a number of times and I felt like they were trying too hard to be like some Hollywood movies. It wasn't necessary. The dialogue was too weak and you could literally predict what the next speaker would say. I'm always rooting for Nollywood and I have so much faith in them but The Guest didn't cut it for me.
