'Tamasha' Movie Review (8/10)

I hadn't especially planned on watching the movie, but took the opportunity when it arrived as I like Imtiaz Ali's work. I watched the movie at the Trafford Centre Odeon on the first day of release.

The movie is about a guy who is stuck in a role which is alien to his nature and how an encounter with a stranger makes him find his true self.

The movie starts at a slow pace, but picks up within half an hour. The locations and costumes are quite appealing. The music by AR Rehman grows on you and is nicely weaved into the movie. Deepika's acting is right up there and Ranbir gives a commendable performance.

This is a movie with high emotional content and hasn't got the usual Bollywood fluff surrounding it. If you're looking for a timepass movie, you won't be able to pass time while watching it. But, if you grab a coffee and delve deep, it could be rewarding. I'm glad I watched it. A commendable 8/10 for this flick.
