The Flash: Season 3 Premiere

After watching the first episode of the flash I was a little confused and angry at the same time at Barry's behavior. The second season ended with me yelling at Barry not to go back in time to stop his mother's death. After the death of Barry's father in the second season, his grief made him forget how it was a terrible idea to mess with the timeline. The episode begins a few months after Barry goes back in time, he's living in his own bubble and excited to be with his parents again.

He's also the only one who remembers the other existing timeline. In this timeline Wally is the Flash, Iris doesn't know who he is, Joe is a drunk, Kathleen isn't a scientist and Sisco is a tech billionaire.

Barry also keeps the reverse flash, Eobarde Thawne in prison who keeps warning him that his going back in time was a terrible idea. Barry starts loosing his memories from his timeline and he ends up going back to the reverse flash for help.
Thawne makes Barry ask him to kill his mother and he agrees to take him back to his original timeline. Barry is back to what he thinks is his timeline but he soon realizes that everything was not the way it should be. We are yet to see what exactly happens in this timeline and how much damage Barry has caused. Overall the season premiere was okay but not as exciting as I thought it would be and the cast delivered solid performances leaving me at the edge of my seat awaiting the next episode.

Random Thoughts
1. For some reason I can't explain Barry and Iris' bond is the same in every timeline.
2. Where was the young version of Barry when he saved his mother from the reverse flash?
3. Isn't Barry's time travel supposed to affect the other superhero shows like Arrow and Legend's of Tomorrow?

Here's the promo of the first episode; 'Flashpoint'.
