'Sultan' Movie Review (7/10)

I watched the movie at The Trafford Centre Odeon, Manchester over the first weekend of release. My expectations from the film were not very high. But as it's a Salman Khan film, it's (almost) our duty to watch it.

The film is about an ordinary man from Haryana who goes on to become a famous wrestler and his subsequent fall from grace and redemption. The screenplay is reasonable and the songs are good (they grow on you). The YRF producers have some kind of fetish regarding Anushka Sharma, she's in so many of their films. There's hardly any chemistry between the lead pair, which is a trademark of YRF films.

Overall, it is a good one-time watch and is reasonably entertaining. 7/10 for this flick.
