Power Season Four Finale- "You Can't Fix This"

WARNING!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!

The fourth season of STARZ's Power has been a roller coaster for the characters and the viewers and after watching the finale, I'm not sure how to describe how I feel. I'm a bit pissed because it ended too soon and I wished they made it a two hour episode. Before the finale, it looked like things were getting better for everyone. Ghost (Omari Hardwick) was exonerated, Angela (Lela Loren) was promoted, Tariq (Michael Raineyy Jr) & his twin were going to a prep school in Connecticut and Tommy (Joseph Sikora) reconnected with his father, but everything went downhill for these characters. After Raina (Donshea Hopkins) was killed by Ray Ray (Marcus Calendar) at the end of "That Ain't Me", we all knew Tommy and Ghost were going to go for blood, and they did. In "You Can't Fix This", the St. Patrick family are heartbroken by the loss and while Tommy and Ghost are searching for the killer, Tariq wants to redeem himself mostly because it was his fault Raina got shot. Her death introduces each of the characters to a new chapter next season.

Tasha and Ghost's car scene was so emotional, I literally had goosebumps all over my body. Very good acting from Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton. The most dumbest character was Father Callahan (Jim Norton). Tommy tells him about Dre's (Rotimi Akinosho) sneaky ways and the first person he goes to, is Dre. He deserved to be stabbed for not being smart. Tariq is now part of the crime world and it was so intense when Tasha explained to him how to get away with murder. He's slowly becoming like his father. Tommy, Ghost and Kanan teaming up again has me so excited for the next season. The body count this season was very high and a lot of viewers were waiting to see someone put a bullet in Dre's head, but I guess we'll have to wait till next year. The episode was all about revenge and after Tariq stupidly shot Ray Ray without thinking of the repercussions, it's left to Tasha to clean up the mess by taking the fall. If only he told his parents and uncle, they would have took care of Ray Ray without leaving any trace for the Police. But, should we really blame him? He has terrible role models and maybe if his parents told him the truth about what they were, it could have been a different story. Key word here is -Maybe-. Ghost, Tasha and Angela are going to be conflicted again next season with Angela hunting down Ray Ray's killer.

The cliffhangers in this finale includes the re-emergence of Maria Suarez, the bullet in the wall, Tasha taking the fall for Tariq and the tracker in Tommy's car being turned on. Tasha was thinking of leaving her husband, having an affair with a lawyer, and might go to jail for what she didn't do. These are exactly the same things that happened to her husband. What will it be like for Tommy, Ghost and Kanan now that they are working together? Whats going to happen to Dre? Will Tasha go to jail? How will Tariq handle the fact that he murdered someone? Will Ghost ever go legit? Is Tommy going to jail? Will Ghost end up in jail again?
It was a really good finale and it has set the tone for what to expect next year, even though waiting is going to be a torture. Power was renewed for a fifth season in July 2016.
