TV Series Schedule: April 2016


APRIL 2 
THE KENNEDYS-AFTER CAMELOT (Drama/Historical Fiction)
The two-part four hour sequel to The Kennedy's stars Matthew Perry as Ted Kennedy and Katie Holmes as Jackie Kennedy.
APRIL 4 
DIMENSION 404 (SciFi)
The six episode anthology tells a different story in each hour long episode. Lea Michelle, Sarah Hyland, Joel McHale, Patton Oswalt, Megan Mullaly and Tom Noonan are set to make appearances this season.
iZOMBIE (Drama)
The third season premieres on April 4. 
PRISON BREAK (Drama)
Prison Break aired last in 2009 and they return 8 years later with 9 episodes with most of the original cast on FOX.
APRIL 5
ARCHER (Animation/Comedy)
Archer moves from FX to FXX with an eighth season.
BROCKMIRE (Comedy)
Hank Azaria is a baseball announcer whose meltdown forces him to restart his career
APRIL 7
THE GET DOWN (Drama)
The musical dram continues streaming it's first season on Netflix.
APRIL 8 
THE SON (Drama)
The Son is an adaptation of Phillip Meyer's novel about three generations in a Texas family dynasty. It stars Pierce Brosnan.
TRAINING DAY (Crime Drama)
The crime drama continues its first season on CBS.

APRIL 10
ANGIE TRIBECA (Comedy)
The third season of this comedy returns to TBS with guest stars including Natalie Portman, Michelle Dockery, Niecy Nash, Rob Riggle, Ed Helms and Constance Zimmer. 
BETTER CALL SAUL (Drama)
The Breaking Bad prequel returns with its third season on AMC.
APRIL 11
BROOKLYN NINE NINE (Comedy)
FOX's comedy starring Andy Samberg continues its fourth season. 

APRIL 15
DOCTOR WHO (Science Fiction)
The final season of Doctor Who stars Peter Capaldi as the doctor and Pearl Mackie as his companion. 
APRIL 16
GUERRILLA (Drama)
The Showtime Drama stars Idris Elba and Freida Pinto about a black activist movement during 1970's London.
THE LEFTOVERS (Drama)
The third and final season of The Leftovers is set in Australia and Texas
VEEP (Comedy)
The sixth season of the HBO comedy returns on April 16.
THE WHITE PRINCESS (Drama)
The eight episode miniseries is sequel to The White Queen based on the Phillippa Gregory novel.
APRIL 18
FAMOUS IN LOVE (Drama)
Bella Thorne stars in this drama and adaptation of Rebecca Serle's novel is about a college student who gets cast in a blockbuster in Hollywood.  
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (Drama)
The second part of the seventh and final season airs on freeform. 
APRIL 19
FARGO (Drama)
The critically acclaimed FX drama jumps to the year 2010 and centers on sibling rivalry starring Carrie Coon, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and David Thewlis.
APRIL 21
BOSCH (Drama)
GIRLBOSS (Drama)
Girlboss is based on the book #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso. It's going to star Britt Robertson (Tomorrow Land).
APRIL 22
THE IMMORTAL LIFE OF HENRIETTA LACKS (Drama)
Oprah Winfrey and Rose Byrne star in this HBO adaptation of Rebecca Skloots non fiction book about a woman whose cancerous cells were harvested by scientists in the 1950's and used for medical research.
APRIL 23
MARY KILLS PEOPLE (Drama)
This series stars Caroline Dhavernas as a pro-euthanasia physician.

GREAT NEWS (Comedy)
Great News centers on a producer played by Briga Heelan who isn't too excited with the fact that her overbearing mother (Andrea Martin) has joined the station as an intern. 
APRIL 26
THE HANDMAIDS TALE (Drama/SciFi)
The Hulu original series is based on the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name set in the dystopian near future. It stars Elisabeth Moss, Yvonne Strahoski, Joseph Fiennes, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel and Ann Dowd. 
APRIL 28
CABLE GIRLS (Foreign Drama)
Netflix's first Spanish original series is set in Madrid during the late 1920's and follows four women working for the national telephone company. 

DEAR WHITE PEOPLE (Comedy/Drama)
This is an adaptation of the 2014 movie of the same name about racial tension at a mostly white Ivy League college.
SMALL CRIMES (Drama/Thriller)
Game of Thrones' Nikolaj Coster-Waldau stars in this Netflix series as a disgraced cop who can't escape his past.
APRIL 30
AMERICAN GODS (Drama/Fantasy)
The adaptation of Neil Giaman's fantasy novel starring Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, Orlando Jones and Crispin Glover.
