I watched the movie at Vue, Star City, Birmingham and the theatre was pretty empty. I like Harbhajan Maan's movies and so took the plunge.The movie is about an ambitious farmer who goes on to become the chief minister of Punjab with his guile and help of his two loyal friends. The screenplay is the highlight of the movie and the subject of politics is dealt with in a subtle way in the movie. Ghuggi injects his trademark humour in the movie. The villain (Dev Gill) has performed admirably.
Better direction, editing and choice of heroine would've certainly helped matters. Some of the songs seem out of place. Overall, it is a good timepass movie. Generous 7/10 for this flick.
